Merlin the Stud!

Isn't Merlin such a beautiful Griffon?  We have contacted some owners that have pups out of Merlin and they can't say enough good things about their pups.  We are lucky to have been able to breed Scout with Merlin and can't wait to see the pups in only 8 days!  Tomorrow I will be taking Scouts maternity shots so you can see how miserably big her belly is getting! Until then here is a picture of Scout from last week. Oh, and yes that is a dead mouse behind her, which is also one of Scout's favorite past time.  She is a better mouser than any of our cats! Her belly is growing!

This is Merlin, the Sire to our litter of pups that are due March 9, 2015. Merlin is from Oakley, Idaho and comes from an excellent line of wire-haired pointing griffons. He is a gorgeous dog and an excellent bird dog. Here is his pedigree.

Scout the Bird Dog

Scout loves hunting pheasants.  She is such a natural at pointing and retrieving which makes training very easy.  Scout is only 2 years old and has had a lot of exposure and experiences with hunting, swimming, and running.  She is the perfect family dog and has a very good temperment.
