Week 5!

Week 5 with the pups!  This is picking week.  We hope to have all your pups picked by this weekend.  Thank you to those that have let us know your top 2-3 pups.  As it stands the males are all picked.  There are a few left to pick for the females but the picks are all very different from everyone so it looks like everyone so far will be getting hopefully their first or second pick.  Just so you know, there is not a bad pup in the litter.  There really isn't.  They are all so unique and cute you really can't go wrong :)! 

We have received payment from all that are having their pup flown so on the agenda for tomorrow was to book flights, however, jury duty might have another agenda for me but hopefully I can find some time to get it done.  If you have already sent your payment either by paypal or certified check thank you!  If you haven't please send your final payment by this weekend so we can ensure all payments are processed before you come pick your pup up.

*******If your pup is flying I need you to email me your address that is on the ID you will be bringing to claim your pup at the airport.  The addresses need to match for you to claim your pup!

This week has been a busy week here at the Jones' ranch.  We have had family reunions on both sides at our house with a million cousins mauling and playing with the pups like crazy.  By the end of the day they are exhausted and sleep like babies.  They are getting so active and are following us all around the yard and playing (pulling on pant legs) with the boys.  

We hope to deliver you all good news with your picks this weekend and look forward to visiting a few of you that are coming to meet the litter this week!

Week 4 video

Sorry about the delay for this week's video- we had some uploading issues.

Only a few more weeks until you will be able to take your puppy home!  Please start picking out your top three pups if you are picking orders 3-7 for females and let us know as soon as you have them picked.  We won't have the definite picks until week 6 but let us know as soon as you are ready with your picks.  If you are first pick for males and females let us know what pup you are choosing and picks 2 and 3 let us know your top 2 or 3 pups.  Please review this contract and print it out and sign it and bring it with you if you are picking up your pup or mail/email us a copy if we are flying your pup to you.

We are still planning on having pups picked up April 24th or 25th unless you have made other arrangements with us, and pups flying out on May 1st or 2nd.  We are still waiting for some payments for pups flying before we book their flights so please try to get your payment in ASAP especially if your pup is flying so we can let you know the flight schedules.

The last payment if you are picking up your pup is due April 16th but if your pup is flying please send or paypal your last payment now. (See last week's post for payment details or the website).

We will be sending the AKC papers by mail when we fly your pup and will give AKC papers to those who pick up their pup on pickup day.  We will also be inserting the microchip when you pick up your pup and right before your pup flys.  Information will be given of how to register your microchip online, it is really easy.

Here is the week 4 video- they are getting so active and fun to play with!  They had their first outing on Easter and got to play with 10 little boy cousins all day.  These pups will definitely be child proof when you get them :)!

Week 3 Videos and Pictures!

It's hard to believe these little pups are already 3 weeks old and in only 4 weeks you will be picking them up and in 5 weeks some will be flying to their new owners!  We are having such a fun time playing and loving these puppies.  They are all starting to walk and explore and even starting to growl and give a little bark.  They are all very healthy and beautiful pups.  They will change a lot this week and within the next two weeks we will have a definite idea of what the coat will look like and what the pup will be like.  Next week they will be introduced to puppy food.  We will be feeding them Iams puppy food so you will want to continue feeding them the same kind when you get them.  Remember week 6 will be picking week where we will call you according to picking order and talk to you about what pup you have your eye on from the videos.

  

We will be calling the airlines this week to schedule flights for those that will be flying.  If you haven't given us a definite airport that Delta flies to please do as soon as possible so we can get this booked.  We are still shooting for April 24th and 25th as pick up days and May 1st and 2nd as fly out days.  We are pretty flexible if these dates don't work for you so please let us know.

The final payment will be due on April 16th.  Thank you to those who have already paid the final payment.  For those who still need to pay, you can make your payment on our website here through paypal (includes 3% fee) or by mailing a certified check or cash (please let us know if you are mailing money so we know to watch for it).  

The final prices are as follows:

Limited registration(no breeding or show rights)= $1000- $100 deposit = $900

Full registration(breeding rights and showing rights)= $1200- $100 deposit = $1100

The pups are already growing and are all so healthy!  The biggest pup of the litter is a male, and the smallest pup of the litter is a male :)! They are all nursing fantastic and Scout is being a wonderful little mom.  They are getting their tails docked and their dew claws removed today!  Hopefully their eyes will be open in a few days.  We still have a few females available!
